Welcome back to the Junction City Driver’s Guide! We are back with Part 2 of our seasonal update. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Things are moving fast here at Jim Clark Chevrolet as we transition from turkey dinners to holiday shopping. We have some fun team updates to share and, as always, we’re answering a few more of your top car questions to keep you safe on the roads this winter. Here is what’s happening at the dealership:

1. Who won the "Great Jim Clark Chevrolet Turkey Cook-Off"?
We take our food almost as seriously as we take our cars! For our work Thanksgiving potluck, we hosted a turkey cook-off competition. We are proud (and slightly amused) to announce that our Sales Manager, Jarrod, took home the victory! We must admit, he won by default since the other contestant was unable to produce a turkey due to “technical difficulties” (we’re still waiting on the full story there). It was a delicious way to celebrate with the team.
Speaking of competition, we have prices you just can’t beat on our new & pre-owned inventory! Click here to shop our unbeatable inventory!

2. Who is celebrating a birthday or anniversary this month?
Our staff is family, and we love highlighting the people who make this dealership run. We have some special milestones to celebrate!
Happy Birthday to:
• 12/4: Meaghan Orcutt, Reconditioner
• 12/11: Patty Watson, Body Shop Clerk
• 12/25: Jordan Fetters, Service Tech
Happy Work Anniversary to:
• 12/17: Kevin Gorman, Accounting. Celebrating 21 years with us!
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to our team and our customers. Click here to meet the rest of our amazing staff!

3. Did you spot us at the Junction City Chamber Christmas Parade?
We had a blast celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Junction City Chamber Christmas Parade! For the third year in a row, I was honored to serve as a judge for this incredible community event. The creativity was out of this world, especially with this year’s theme: "Elves on the Loose." Even with all the elves running around, I managed to find time to grab a photo with the Grinch! It’s a wonderful tradition we look forward to every year.
We love serving this community, especially those who serve our country. Click here to view our Military Appreciation offers!

4. How often should I check my tire pressure in the winter?
This is one of the most common questions we get once the snow starts falling here in Junction City. In cold weather, air contracts, which means your tire pressure can drop significantly even if you don't have a leak (usually 1 PSI for every 10 degrees the temperature drops). Low tire pressure reduces traction on slick roads. We recommend checking them every time you fill up your gas tank during the winter months. If your light stays on, swing by and let us take a look!

5. Can I trade in my car even if I’m still paying for it?
The answer is yes! With the new year approaching, many people are looking to upgrade their ride but worry because they still have a loan on their current vehicle. In many cases, you can trade in your financed car. We simply get ahold of your current lender to get your remaining balance and apply it to your new financing. This way, you only have one convenient loan payment! It’s often easier than you think to get into something new for 2026.
